Bio

Charly Siaba is a singer songwriter, producer, and multi-instrumentalist musician. Born and raised in Cuba, he is a classically trained guitarist currently based in Houston, Texas, where he continues to develop his career as an independent artist.

His music is rooted in Trova and Bolero while incorporating elements of Jazz, Blues, Funk, and Latin music. He has accompanied his steady stream of releases with regular live appearances as a solo artist and along his trio all around Houston, Austin, San Antonio, as well as in Miami.

Since the release of his first EP Volando, Siaba has been recognized by publications in Cuba, Spain, Latin America, and United States as one of the emerging distinctive voices of contemporary Cuban songwriting. His music has also been featured by Mondo Sonoro as part of FARO, the Ibero American alliance of music publications, introducing his work to audiences beyond Cuba and positioning him among a new generation of Cuban artists, contributing to the evolution of the country's independent music scene.
